DESCRIPTION

The Bordeaux Blanc from Château de Hartes is a crisp and expressive white wine crafted from a classic blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. Grown on clay-limestone soils, the grapes deliver a wine that balances freshness with aromatic intensity. Bright citrus, floral notes, and a touch of minerality create an elegant and vibrant cuvée that perfectly reflects the charm of Bordeaux whites.

EYE

This Bordeaux Blanc shows a pale straw-yellow color with green highlights, bright and clear in the glass. Its crystalline appearance suggests freshness and a lively character.

NOSE

The bouquet is expressive and fragrant, with aromas of citrus zest, white peach, and fresh-cut grass. Subtle floral notes and a hint of wet stone bring additional complexity and refinement.

MOUTH

On the palate, it is crisp and well-balanced, offering flavors of grapefruit, lime, and ripe orchard fruits. The texture is smooth and round, lifted by a vibrant acidity that leads to a clean, mineral finish.

PAIRING

Perfect with oysters, shellfish, and grilled fish, it also pairs beautifully with sushi, goat cheese, or fresh summer salads. A refreshing choice for aperitifs and light dishes.

Château de Hartes

Château de Hartes is a family-owned estate located in the Entre-deux-Mers region, renowned for producing fresh, lively white wines. With careful vineyard management and a commitment to highlighting the terroir, the estate crafts wines that are approachable, authentic, and ideal for sharing with friends around the table.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
