Originating from the sun-baked schist soils of the Maury appellation, this historic wine is made by mutage—fortifying fermenting Grenache Noir with grape spirit to preserve natural sweetness. Aged oxidatively for three decades, it reveals layered notes of dried fig, cocoa, and walnut. Rich yet impeccably balanced, it embodies the ancestral craftsmanship of Mas Amiel and the enduring soul of southern France.
