Clos Saint-Anne Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux is a refined and elegant red wine crafted by women winemakers, the Courselle sisters, blending tradition with modern precision in one of the region’s most underrated appellations. This wine beautifully reflects the charm and finesse of Bordeaux's Right Bank. Made primarily from Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this cuvée expresses the perfect harmony between ripe fruit, smooth texture, and subtle minerality. It combines richness and freshness in a polished, well-balanced style that highlights both the terroir and the craftsmanship of this boutique estate. An easy Bordeaux wine to drink with or without food!

EYE

Deep ruby-red with garnet highlights, brilliant and inviting, suggesting both freshness and concentration.

NOSE

Elegant and complex, opening with aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and blackberry. Notes of spice, vanilla, and subtle toasted oak bring warmth and depth, while mineral undertones hint at the limestone terroir.

MOUTH

Supple and refined, with a round texture supported by silky tannins. Flavors of red and black fruit unfold smoothly, balanced by fine acidity and a touch of cocoa and clove. The finish is long and polished, combining power and finesse.

PAIRING

Perfect with roasted meats, duck breast, lamb chops, or mushroom risotto. It also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses or Mediterranean cuisine — ideal for elegant dinners or intimate gatherings.

Managed by Marie and Sylvie Courselle, the Vignobles Famille Courselle oversee several family estates, including Château Thieuley and Clos Saint-Anne. Their vineyards in the Entre-Deux-Mers and Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux are cultivated sustainably, emphasizing biodiversity and respect for the environment. The wines are crafted with precision and care, reflecting the family’s passion for authenticity and terroir expression.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
