Château Gaudin is a family-owned estate in the prestigious Pauillac appellation on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. Known for crafting classic, age-worthy wines, Château Gaudin produces Cabernet Sauvignon–dominant blends that express the power and elegance of Pauillac. The wines typically show notes of blackcurrant, cedar, and graphite, with firm tannins and excellent structure, making them ideal for pairing with red meats and aging in cellar.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
