DESCRIPTION

Corbières Blanc La Font Blanche - Château de Caraguilhes is an organic and biodynamic white wine from Southern France's Corbières AOC. This elegant blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Vermentino delivers aromas of citrus, white peach, and almond blossom with a fresh, mineral-driven finish. A versatile French white wine, ideal with seafood, grilled fish, Mediterranean cuisine, or as an aperitif.

EYE

Pale golden yellow with delicate green reflections, expressing freshness and clarity.

NOSE

Elegant and aromatic, revealing notes of white peach, citrus zest, pear, and white flowers, with subtle hints of herbs and a touch of minerality typical of the Corbières terroir.

MOUTH

Fresh and well-balanced, offering flavors of lemon, ripe stone fruit, and a light saline note. Crisp acidity brings energy and precision, while the texture remains smooth and refined, leading to a clean, refreshing finish.

PAIRING

A perfect match for seafood, grilled fish, shellfish, light poultry dishes, or vegetable-forward plates. Also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, salads, and Mediterranean cuisine.

Château de Caraguilhes

Founded in 1958 and located in the heart of Corbières, Château de Caraguilhes is one of the region’s pioneering organic estates. Surrounded by garrigue and wild herbs, its 135 hectares of vineyards are cultivated sustainably on limestone and clay soils. The estate’s philosophy is centered on respect for nature, minimal intervention, and the authentic expression of terroir — producing wines that are pure, balanced, and full of southern charm.

Languedoc-Roussillon

The Languedoc-Roussillon region, located west of Provence and South of the Rhône valley, on the Mediterranean Sea, is the largest wine region of France. It is known for its rich wine and culinary history influenced by the Roman period and its mediterranean culture and climate. Benefiting from "usually" good growing conditions, winemaking creativity and experimentation thrive here, as new generations of producers have focused on premium wines and organic or natural farming. Native red grape varieies such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault result usually into bold and smooth red blends with always a touch of earthiness or dry herbs. This region is diverse and exiciting in its offerings, and offer a wide range of wines from simple single varietals to sophisticated red blends that will compete against the best wines in the world. Enjoy Languedoc wines with grilled meat or fish (for the whites), lamb stews, or any mediterranean dishes.
