DESCRIPTION

Sancerre Rosé Domaine Inès Lauverjat 2024 is a fresh and elegant rosé from the Sancerre AOC in the Loire Valley, France. Made from Pinot Noir, it shows bright notes of strawberry, raspberry, and subtle minerality with crisp acidity. Light-bodied and dry, it pairs beautifully with seafood, salads, charcuterie, or summer dishes. A refined and refreshing Sancerre rosé perfect for warm-weather drinking.

EYE

A pale salmon-pink color with delicate copper reflections, showing freshness and elegance.

NOSE

Fresh and expressive, revealing aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and red currant, complemented by subtle floral notes and a touch of citrus zest.

MOUTH

Light to medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and a crisp texture. The palate is bright and refreshing, offering flavors of red berries and citrus with a delicate mineral backbone. The finish is clean, lively, and beautifully balanced.

PAIRING

Perfect with summer salads, grilled fish, shrimp, or light Mediterranean dishes. It also pairs beautifully with goat cheese, charcuterie, or simply enjoyed as an aperitif well chilled.

Domaine Inès Lauverjat

Domaine Inès Lauverjat is a small, dynamic estate in the heart of the Sancerre appellation (Upper Loire, France) founded and run by winemaker Inès Lauverjat. She took the reins of the family holdings at a young age — after gaining experience in Beaune and at another Sancerre domain — and now oversees vineyards planted on steep slopes of limestone and clay-soil, with a focus on sustainable viticulture.

Loire

With 2,000 years of history featuring kings'castles and fortresses, the Loire Valley is home to 31 appelations, starting in the Muscadet to the west near the Atlantic Ocean, passing by Chinon, Vouvray and the Touraine in the middle, to end to the famous village of Sancerre, located all the way to the East. This region cultivates 24 grape varietals which offer a very diverse tasting and culinary experience. From mineral whites such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc or Melon de Bourgogne (aka grape use in Muscadet) to light and spicy reds, such as Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir or Gamay. It is also France's third largest wine growing region, featuring a temperate climate and diverse terroirs influenced by the Atlantic ocean and the proximity of the Loire river. Enjoy white loire wines with goat cheese or seafood, and the reds with spicy cuisine and vegeterian dishes.
