DESCRIPTION

Château Moulin de Mallet Bordeaux Rouge is a smooth and expressive red wine that highlights the fruit-forward elegance of Bordeaux's Right Bank. Made from a blend dominated by Merlot, with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this cuvée offers supple tannins, ripe red fruit, and a touch of spice. Balanced and approachable, it's a classic Bordeaux crafted for immediate pleasure and everyday sophistication.

EYE

Deep ruby-red color with bright garnet reflections, clear and vivid, showing youthful energy.

NOSE

Expressive and generous, with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, and plum, interwoven with notes of spice, licorice, and a subtle touch of vanilla.

MOUTH

Smooth and round on the palate, offering juicy fruit flavors supported by soft tannins and balanced acidity. Hints of red berries, cocoa, and sweet spice lead to a harmonious, persistent finish that combines freshness with depth.

PAIRING

Perfect with roasted meats, grilled lamb, pasta dishes, or charcuterie. It also pairs beautifully with mild cheeses, mushroom-based recipes, and Mediterranean cuisine — ideal for casual dinners and relaxed gatherings.

Château Moulin de Mallet

Located in Pujols-sur-Dordogne, in the heart of the Bordeaux region, Château Moulin de Mallet has been owned and managed by the Couderc family for five generations. The estate spans approximately 80 hectares of sustainably cultivated vineyards planted on clay-limestone slopes overlooking the Dordogne River. Their philosophy combines traditional winemaking with modern precision, producing wines that are both authentic and accessible.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
