Lightly aged in oak, it offers purity of fruit, gentle structure, and a lively, refreshing style. This cuvée is approachable, versatile, and perfectly suited for everyday enjoyment while showcasing the precision and balance characteristic of the Hugel family's wines.

EYE

This Pinot Noir displays a brilliant ruby-red color with subtle garnet highlights, clear and luminous in the glass. Its clarity reflects its freshness and delicate structure.

NOSE

The bouquet is expressive and refined, with aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, and raspberry. Subtle notes of violet, spice, and a hint of earthiness add complexity and depth.

MOUTH

On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied, with juicy red fruit flavors supported by fine, silky tannins. A fresh acidity brings lift and elegance, leading to a smooth, vibrant finish with lingering notes of spice and red berries.

PAIRING

Perfect with charcuterie, roast chicken, or grilled salmon, it also pairs beautifully with mushroom dishes, quiches, and soft cheeses. Slightly chilled, it makes an ideal red for warm-weather dining.

Famille Hugel

Famille Hugel, established in 1639 in the village of Riquewihr, is one of the most iconic and historic wine families in Alsace. For over twelve generations, they have produced wines that reflect the region’s unique terroirs with precision and respect for tradition. Their Gentil cuvée revives the ancestral practice of blending noble grapes, resulting in a wine that is approachable, versatile, and true to the spirit of Alsace.
