The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée from Domaine du Pegau is a benchmark expression of the southern Rhône. Primarily Grenache, complemented by small amounts of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and other permitted varieties, it reflects the estate's traditional approach: whole-cluster fermentation and aging in old foudres without filtration. The result is a wine of depth, complexity, and unmistakable regional character, combining richness with savory, earthy nuance. Layered and age-worthy, it develops increasing aromatic and textural complexity over time.
EYE

Deep garnet color with a hint of purple at the rim.

NOSE

A complex bouquet of ripe black cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with garrigue herbs, dried flowers, leather, and subtle spice.

MOUTH

Full-bodied and textured on the palate, with supple tannins supporting rich fruit and savory undertones. Notes of black fruit, earth, and warm spice lead to a long, persistent finish with a touch of minerality and aromatic herbs.
