DESCRIPTION

Château Puyanché Francs Côtes de Bordeaux Blanc is a vibrant and elegant white wine from one of Bordeaux's most charming appellations. Crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, it beautifully balances aromatic freshness with roundness and texture. This cuvée highlights the finesse and minerality of the region's limestone-clay soils, offering a crisp, expressive, and refined interpretation of Bordeaux Blanc.

EYE

Pale golden yellow with green reflections, bright and crystalline, suggesting freshness and youth.

NOSE

Expressive and aromatic, with notes of citrus, white peach, and exotic fruit, enhanced by hints of acacia blossom and flint. A delicate touch of honey and spice adds depth and charm.

MOUTH

Fresh and lively on the palate, combining the zesty tension of Sauvignon Blanc with the smooth, rounded texture of Sémillon. Flavors of grapefruit, pear, and lime unfold harmoniously, supported by balanced acidity and a mineral backbone. The finish is long, elegant, and refreshing.

PAIRING

Ideal with seafood, grilled fish, sushi, or shellfish. It also pairs beautifully with poultry, goat cheese, or vegetable-based dishes — a versatile choice for both casual and refined dining.

Château Puyanché

Château Puyanché belongs to Vignobles Arbo, a family estate led by Bernadette and Joseph Arbo in the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Spanning over 50 hectares of clay-limestone soils, the vineyard is cultivated sustainably and primarily planted with Merlot and Cabernet. The estate produces elegant, well-balanced wines that express the finesse and authenticity of Bordeaux’s right bank.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
