DESCRIPTION

Fleur de Pédesclaux is the second wine of Château Pédesclaux, a Grand Cru Classé from the prestigious Pauillac appellation. Crafted with the same care and precision as the grand vin, it offers a more approachable expression of this noble terroir. Blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this cuvée combines power, elegance, and freshness - a perfect balance between structure and refinement, characteristic of great Left Bank Bordeaux wines.

EYE

Deep garnet-red with ruby highlights, brilliant and dense, reflecting both concentration and youth.

NOSE

Expressive and complex, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and violet, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice. Hints of graphite and mineral freshness add to its Pauillac identity.

MOUTH

Silky and generous, offering a fine balance of ripe fruit, supple tannins, and lively acidity. Flavors of black cherry, cassis, and cocoa evolve harmoniously, supported by elegant oak integration. The finish is long, fresh, and polished — elegant and accessible, yet unmistakably Pauillac.

PAIRING

Perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, lamb chops, duck breast, or game dishes. It also pairs beautifully with mushroom risotto, aged cheeses, or truffle-based cuisine — ideal for refined dinners and special occasions.

Château Pédesclaux

Founded in 1810 by Urbain Pédesclaux, the château is located in the heart of Pauillac, among the most celebrated vineyards of the Médoc. Since its acquisition by the Lorenzetti family in 2009, the estate has undergone a complete revival, with organic conversion, precision viticulture, and a state-of-the-art cellar. Today, Château Pédesclaux produces wines of purity and depth, combining Pauillac’s power with exceptional finesse.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
