DESCRIPTION

Les Tours de Laroque is the second wine of Château Laroque, one of the largest and most historic estates of Saint-Émilion. Crafted primarily from Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, it offers a supple, fruit-forward expression of the château's limestone terroir. Round, elegant, and refined, this cuvée captures the charm and accessibility of Right Bank Bordeaux while preserving the depth and precision that define Laroque's style.

EYE

Deep ruby-red with purple hues, luminous and concentrated, showing youth and intensity.

NOSE

Elegant and expressive, revealing notes of ripe plum, cherry, and blackberry, layered with hints of violet, licorice, and subtle oak spice.

MOUTH

Smooth and well-structured, with velvety tannins and lively acidity. Flavors of dark fruit, cocoa, and spice unfold harmoniously, leading to a long, polished finish marked by balance and finesse.

PAIRING

Perfect with roasted lamb, grilled meats, duck breast, or truffle risotto. It also pairs beautifully with mushroom dishes and aged cheeses — ideal for elegant dinners or special occasions.

Château Laroque

Perched on the limestone plateau east of Saint-Émilion, Château Laroque dates back to the 12th century and is classified as a Grand Cru Classé. Today, the estate is managed by David Suire, who oversees 61 hectares of sustainably farmed vines. With meticulous vineyard management and gentle vinification, the château produces wines that balance concentration with freshness, combining classic Saint-Émilion richness with exceptional minerality.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
