The Savennières from Domaine des Baumard is a refined and powerful Loire Valley white made from 100% Chenin Blanc. Grown on schist soils, it delivers a unique balance of tension, minerality, and depth. Vinified with precision, this cuvée expresses ripe fruit, floral notes, and a signature saline finish, offering a pure expression of one of the Loire's most prestigious appellations.

EYE

This wine displays a bright straw-gold color with green reflections, clear and brilliant in the glass. Its luminosity hints at freshness and vibrancy.

NOSE

The bouquet is complex and elegant, with aromas of quince, apple, and citrus. Notes of honeysuckle, chamomile, and wet stone add depth and mineral precision.

MOUTH

On the palate, it is dry and structured, with flavors of pear, lemon, and subtle spice. The racy acidity and mineral backbone bring tension and length, leading to a persistent, saline finish.

PAIRING

For generations, the Baumard family has practiced meticulous vineyard management and precise, temperature-controlled fermentations to craft wines that are elegant, age-worthy, and true to their terroir.

With 2,000 years of history featuring kings'castles and fortresses, the Loire Valley is home to 31 appelations, starting in the Muscadet to the west near the Atlantic Ocean, passing by Chinon, Vouvray and the Touraine in the middle, to end to the famous village of Sancerre, located all the way to the East.
