DESCRIPTION

The Petit Cochon Bronze from Domaine Rimbert is a fresh, playful, and expressive rosé made from a blend of traditional Languedoc grape varieties. Crafted with minimal intervention, it offers a juicy, fruit-forward profile with bright acidity and a dry, refreshing finish. Lighthearted and vibrant, this cuvée captures the carefree spirit of summer in the south of France.

EYE

This rosé reveals a pale, shimmering salmon-pink color with delicate copper highlights, bright and crystalline in the glass.

NOSE

The bouquet is aromatic and lively, with notes of wild strawberry, watermelon, and citrus zest. Hints of white flowers and herbs add freshness and complexity.

MOUTH

On the palate, it is crisp and juicy, delivering flavors of red berries, peach, and a touch of grapefruit. The bright acidity brings lift and energy, while the dry, clean finish leaves a refreshing impression.

PAIRING

Perfect with summer salads, grilled shrimp, or charcuterie boards. It also pairs beautifully with Mediterranean appetizers, fresh goat cheese, or enjoyed on its own as a chilled aperitif.

Domaine Rimbert

Domaine Rimbert, located in the Saint-Chinian appellation, is run by Jean-Marie Rimbert, a winemaker celebrated for his commitment to organic farming and low-intervention winemaking. Known as a champion of Carignan and other local varieties, Rimbert crafts wines that are approachable, authentic, and full of personality — with Petit Cochon Bronze being his signature rosé.

Languedoc-Roussillon

The Languedoc-Roussillon region, located west of Provence and South of the Rhône valley, on the Mediterranean Sea, is the largest wine region of France. It is known for its rich wine and culinary history influenced by the Roman period and its mediterranean culture and climate. Benefiting from "usually" good growing conditions, winemaking creativity and experimentation thrive here, as new generations of producers have focused on premium wines and organic or natural farming. Native red grape varieies such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault result usually into bold and smooth red blends with always a touch of earthiness or dry herbs. This region is diverse and exiciting in its offerings, and offer a wide range of wines from simple single varietals to sophisticated red blends that will compete against the best wines in the world. Enjoy Languedoc wines with grilled meat or fish (for the whites), lamb stews, or any mediterranean dishes.
