The Alsace Pinot Noir “Cuve 7” from Domaine Trimbach is a sophisticated and expressive red wine that reflects the growing excellence of Pinot Noir in Alsace. Crafted from select parcels and aged in oak barrels, this cuvée reveals the elegance, depth, and precision for which the Trimbach family is renowned. It combines purity of fruit, fine structure, and delicate spice, resulting in a wine of remarkable balance and length.

EYE

A bright ruby-red color with delicate garnet highlights, showing clarity and brilliance that hint at finesse and freshness.

NOSE

Elegant and complex, the bouquet opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, followed by subtle notes of rose petals, sweet spice, and a touch of toasted oak.

MOUTH

Silky and well-structured, the palate displays layers of ripe red fruit, refined tannins, and balanced acidity. Hints of clove, vanilla, and forest floor emerge with aeration, leading to a long, harmonious finish marked by freshness and elegance.

PAIRING

Perfect with roasted duck, lamb chops, or mushroom risotto. It also pairs beautifully with charcuterie, grilled salmon, or soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert. Serve slightly chilled (15–16°C) to highlight its freshness and refined texture.

Founded in 1626 and based in Ribeauvillé, Maison Trimbach is one of Alsace’s most historic and respected estates. For nearly four centuries, the Trimbach family has produced wines that emphasize balance, structure, and authenticity. Today, under the leadership of Pierre and Jean Trimbach, the estate continues to craft world-class wines from meticulously farmed vineyards across Alsace, uniting tradition and modern precision.
