DESCRIPTION

Moulin de Gassac Pinot Noir is a refined and expressive red wine that captures the finesse of this noble grape in the sunny terroirs of southern France. Crafted with the same care and precision as the famous Mas de Daumas Gassac wines, this cuvée combines Burgundian elegance with Mediterranean warmth. Silky, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, it offers both charm and freshness - a true testament to the versatility of Pinot Noir.

EYE

Bright ruby-red with delicate garnet reflections, clear and elegant, suggesting freshness and finesse.

NOSE

Fragrant and complex, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, complemented by subtle floral and spicy notes. A gentle touch of earthiness adds depth and typicity.

MOUTH

Silky and balanced on the palate, with lively acidity and soft tannins. Flavors of red fruit unfold smoothly, enhanced by a hint of clove and minerality. The finish is long, refined, and refreshing — delicate yet full of personality.

PAIRING

Perfect with roasted poultry, grilled salmon, charcuterie, or mushroom risotto. It also pairs beautifully with light pasta dishes, soft cheeses, or vegetable-based cuisine — ideal for elegant everyday dining or casual gatherings.

Mas de Daumas Gassac

Created by Aimé Guibert, founder of the legendary Mas de Daumas Gassac, the Moulin de Gassac range was born from a partnership with local growers sharing the same philosophy of respect for nature and terroir. Produced in the Languedoc region, these wines combine traditional savoir-faire with a commitment to sustainable viticulture. Each cuvée is crafted to reflect purity, balance, and authenticity, bringing the spirit of Gassac to accessible, everyday wines.

Languedoc-Roussillon

The Languedoc-Roussillon region, located west of Provence and South of the Rhône valley, on the Mediterranean Sea, is the largest wine region of France. It is known for its rich wine and culinary history influenced by the Roman period and its mediterranean culture and climate. Benefiting from "usually" good growing conditions, winemaking creativity and experimentation thrive here, as new generations of producers have focused on premium wines and organic or natural farming. Native red grape varieies such as Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault result usually into bold and smooth red blends with always a touch of earthiness or dry herbs. This region is diverse and exiciting in its offerings, and offer a wide range of wines from simple single varietals to sophisticated red blends that will compete against the best wines in the world. Enjoy Languedoc wines with grilled meat or fish (for the whites), lamb stews, or any mediterranean dishes.
