Château Rocher Calon

Château Rocher Calon is a family-owned Bordeaux estate in the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. Spanning approximately 16 hectares (40 acres), the vineyard is planted mainly to Merlot on clay-limestone soils ideal for producing rich, elegant Bordeaux wines.
The estate follows sustainable farming practices and began organic conversion in 2022, emphasizing soil health, biodiversity, and low-intervention viticulture. Château Rocher Calon wines offer classic Right Bank character with notes of black cherry, plum, spice, and soft tannins.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
