DESCRIPTION

Fugue de Nénin is the second wine of Château Nénin and offers an approachable, refined expression of Pomerol. The wine opens with notes of black cherry, plum, and raspberry, accompanied by subtle floral tones and gentle spice. On the palate, it is smooth and finely structured, with supple tannins providing shape without heaviness. Fresh acidity maintains lift and clarity, leading to a long, harmonious finish. Elegant and inviting, this cuvée reflects the charm and finesse of Pomerol while remaining accessible in its youth.

NOSE

MOUTH

Château Nénin

Château Nénin is a respected estate in Pomerol known for producing wines that balance depth, purity, and refined structure. The estate emphasizes attentive vineyard care and precise vinification to highlight clarity of fruit and a strong sense of place. Fugue de Nénin embodies the château’s style in a generous and approachable form.

Bordeaux

Bordeaux is the largest and possibly the most famous wine region in France marked by it's rich history beginning in Roman times. Back in 1885, several Châteaux were classified into grand crus with five quality levels which still exist today. As a port town, its unique geography is built around the Garonne, Dordogne and Gironde rivers which have created it's famous left bank (Medoc) and right banks (Pomerol and Saint-Émilion) and the Entre-Deux-Mers (between two "seas" or rivers) regions. 90% of Bordeaux wine is red with artful blending of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot and sometimes malbec. Wines showcase a full range of taste profiles from earthy with strong and dry tannins to softer and smoother with notes of plum, black fruits. There are the go to French wines with red meat dishes.
