The Domaine Pertuizet Régnié 2021 is a vibrant Beaujolais cru wine made from 100% Gamay. Brilliant ruby in color, it opens with enticing aromas of red cherries, raspberries, and violets, accented by a subtle spicy touch. On the palate, it is supple and fruit-forward, with fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and a smooth, lingering finish. Approachable yet complex, this Régnié pairs beautifully with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled meats, and soft cheeses.

EYE

The wine displays a bright ruby color with purple reflections, hinting at both its youth and lively character.

NOSE

The bouquet opens with aromas of red currant, cherry, and raspberry, followed by delicate notes of peony, clove, and fresh herbs. A subtle mineral tone enhances its aromatic complexity.

MOUTH

On the palate, it is vibrant and silky, showing fine-grained tannins and a fresh, energetic structure. Flavors of crushed berries and gentle spice unfold into a long, elegant finish marked by minerality and finesse.

Domaine Pertuizet

Founded in 2021 by Anaïs Pertuizet, Domaine Pertuizet cultivates 5.5 hectares across Lantignié and Régnié in Beaujolais. Dedicated to organic and biodynamic farming, Anaïs uses traditional methods like horse-drawn ploughing and low-intervention winemaking. Her hand-harvested, whole-cluster Gamay wines are expressive, elegant, and true to the region’s granite-rich terroirs.

Beaujolais

The Beaujolais is a small region of Eastern France just south of Burgundy-Mâconnais and North of Lyon city. The red and rosé wines are made mostly from gamay grapes with vibrant and fruity taste profiles. A little amount of Beaujolais white is also made from the Chardonnay grape. The particularity of the Beaujolais reds, is the fermentation with whole clusters, so called "carbonic maceration" which accentuates the fruitiness of the gamay grape and results in lighter alcohol wines, easier to drink. The region is famous for its "Beaujolais nouveau", which are youthful red wines made on the same year as the harvest occurs. The region is also known for its prestigious 10 villages which are known as crus and showcase different tasting profiles and age-worthy potential.
